The seminar in training of the fishing sport referees took place (03.03.2009)
On February 27 in Rovno “The seminar in training of the fishing sport referees in ІІ-ІІІ categories” took place. The event was conducted by the Panel of judges of “the Fishermen Community of Ukraine”, under the championship and due to the indirect participation of Kiev Fishing Sport Federation President – Yakov Andriyevich Dvirnyy. After the seminars in Kiev and Crimea, the seminar in Rovno has become the third similar event. This seminar conducting – another step on the way to revival of the civilized refereeing in the fishing sport of Ukraine, which has been started by “The Fishermen Community of Ukraine” since 2008.
The seminar in Rovno was attended by 22 participants: at that moment in Ukraine there are already 83 qualified referees in the fishing sport who have proper powers and qualification for organization and official competitions conducting. The seminar began with making a retrospective journey into the history of the fishing sport development in Ukraine, later on “The Competitions Rules in the Fishing Sport in Ukraine” and general Regulations of their conducting were under careful consideration. Certain topic was dedicated to the staff of the judging panels and their forming for the competitions conducting at various levels, duties of the judging panel members at the competition and work of its secretariat. Practically all of the technology in organization of the judging panel work was demonstrated – from the start to finish. Special attention was dedicated to the organization of the technical safety rules providing, appointment and making protocol reporting documentation, the total summing up procedure.
As far as the seminar was conducted on the eve of the significant fishing sport event in Ukraine – The First Cup of Ukraine in the ice jig fishing (February 27 – March 1 2009., the city of Rovno), the lecturer paid special attention just to the peculiarities and nuances of the winter competitions conducting. Next day shoddy referees practiced theoretical knowledge they had gotten: Judging panel at the Cup of Ukraine was staffed with well-experienced referees and the new ones. It is necessary to mention, that the previous experience and the course of lectures heard allowed all of the referees to organize qualified Cup judging!
After the competitions being finished, new referees were served certificates of the referees in the fishing sport. The documents were served by the National sport referee, Kiev Fishing Sport Federation President, Vice-president of the Fishing Sport Federation in Ukraine – Yakov Andriyevich Dvirnyy. Having received the documents shoddy referees pronounced like an oath: «I serve to the fishing sport! ».
